They came to our class and visited with the children. It is so good to see DPS pupils doing great things with their lives. They are an inspiration to us all.

Today at celebration time we were visited by Camryn Williams and Ueta Tufuga-Piopa.

They are ex-pupils of DPS!

They came to celebration time and talked to the children about PRIDE 

and how these values have helped them succeed as teenagers.

One day maisy was bored so she got her yot prepared and left the docks but she forgot to check the wether. 

She had’nt gotten far when suddenly a giant wave hit her.The wave hit her so hard that she got knocked out. She floated out to sea and landed on a island called tinytopia. When maisy woke up, she found herself surounded by little peaple called tiny toddlers trying to tye her to the ground. “ Ahhhhhhhhhhhh” screamed maisy “what are you doing to me?” every tiny toddler ran away. “But ahhh never mind.”? 

Maisy pushed herself out of the string  the tinytodlers called it rope. Maisy set up her emergancy camp kit and camped out beside the tinytopia public libary. In the morning Maisy, woke up to see the mayor of tinytopia. “ your house is the biggest house I have ever seen. I am afraid you will ether sleep outside on the grass or else you will have to leave.” squeled the mayor of tinytopia. after that maisy packed up the tent and put it back in her bag. She was feeling a little bit pekish so she got her emergency breakfast picnic set set up. maisy was a very organised girl she was ready for anything she even had money from all arond the world in her bag but she did’nt have tinytopia money. 

Later that day she wanted some tinytopia money so she went over to the tiny topia mayor and asked if she could get a job. “ well there is one job you can do but it will be very hard.” maisy thought about it. she wanted to get tinytopia money to get a suvaneer for her home town , masterton. “ok I’ll take the job but how much will I get payed?” said maisy. “2 000 lets”said the mayor of tinytoipia. “What is lets?” said maisy. “Oh sorry, money” said the mayor of tinytopia covering his mouth. later that day the mayor of tinytopia ran towards maisy “maisy your job is being a guard and its time to work because our arch enamy littleton is coming!”miasy peered over to the water and saw boats heading towards them.

zzzzz! zzzzz! While the sun was rising farmer steve lay in bed snoring. When he woke up he  opened the windows and doors to let in the fresh air. The animals were waiting eagerly for

their food. There was light shining over the land. Then he got out his stone axe and started to harvest the oak wood in his back yard. Next he shared the sheep and took all their wool they put the wool into a bag and gets teleported away...Suddenly darkness fell across the land an evil sound was to be heard it was like an alien invasion. Farmer steve lay in bed shivering with coldness.

Once upon a time I was in a zombie apocalypse. BOOM!!! As the plane crashed into the ground. The zombies were camouflaged in the dark, spooky, long grass. BLLLAAAH! As the zombie wanted to eat my brain. OW! As one of the zombies went behind me and bit me. I turned around very fast and shot the zombie. BANG! BANG!

Once upon a time some people were on a plane but something strange happened. RARRRRR! A zombie bit someone. ARRR! It was ripping its guts out and he got killed. A person called Max got a dagger and stabbed both of them. The plane was crashing into a deserted island. CRASH! BANG! It hit the ground like a cannonball. Max got out of the moldy plane and starred at all the zombies. They all came speeding towards Max. He got a BB gun out and started to shoot. BANG! BANG! He found a M-16. Max picked it up. He found another survivor called Rex. Rex was a 32 year old boy. He had a Martian rifle. Max and Rex walked off. All zombies were making a terrifying noise. A zombie bit a girl. She fell on the ground painfully. She was screaming like an elephant. Rex got his Martian rifle and shot her. To be continued…

Kallum's Spooky Story

HAUNTED HOUSE  I will prove I can use complex conjunctions.

On a dark and stormy night two college students called Cole and Andre went into a haunted house. ”Andre don’t go in there. It’s haunted!” cole said frantically. “No it’s not cole” said Andre. BOOM! Lightning struck at the haunted house. AHHH! Cole screamed meanwhile Andre walked in without a care in the world.

When Cole walked in he couldn't find Andre. Roar! Andre scared cole. EEEKKK! Andre went up stairs because he heard a noise. There was a coffin that was half open. ARGH! A zombie came out of the coffin. It chased Andre and Cole up the other set of stairs. They ran so fast because they did not want to be eaten.

Then they started to keep walking. They saw a room that was glowing purple and green meanwhile cole closed his eyes. They looked inside the room and saw a… green, mean, witch. HEHEHEHE! The witch was flying round the house chasing Andre and Cole. The witch was making a riot. They were running faster than Usain bolt. They ran out of the haunted hose because they were both scared to death. The end.

Ashar's Prove it T3 Week 5 and 6

On the 24th december santa comes on his sleigh to  all the children's  houses and put presents under the christmas tree and when we wake up in the morning  and we open the presents we get lots of toys. It is really fun and on christmas eve you have a roast for dinner it is delicious.We get lots of lollies as well all the children in the world get some presents even if you're bad but you are still on the bad list i like christmas because it makes me happy.  I love christmas because i like getting lots of presents.
